Southern Cross Community Enterprises

Southern Cross Community Enterprises is a new organisation with lofty ambitions. This organisation has met the challenge for not-for-profit organisations of fundraising head on, and has developed an online lottery to raise funds and generate a sustainable income stream.

Taking the idea of community raffles to the next level, Southern Cross Community Enterprises through their Players Charity Choice concept allows the winner of each online raffle to donate a percentage of the draws funds to the organisation of their choice. In addition, there are a range of ways that organisations can utilise the fundraising capacity and online networking tools this site has to offer.

The organisation has many more plans going forward that will support and benefit non-profit organisations including an market for organisations to see their products online. Visit the Southern Cross Community Enterprise website and contact them to find out more.

This site was built using Joomla! and Energetica's programers built the online raffle tool and associated modules.

National Herbalists Association of Australia

The NHAA came to Energetica with an exisiting Joomla! website that was no longer meeting their needs. The site needed a total information architecture restructure to logically handle the large amounts of information this national organisation shares with the community and its members. Many of the tools that had been used in the site were replaced with tools that Energetica has throughly tested and recommends. CiviCRM is also used for conference management and membership management.

The result is a beautiful, function rich site that serves NHAA members, staff and the broader community.

Centacare Broken Bay

Creating a website that was professional in design, yet warm and inviting in nature was important to the community minded Centacare Broken Bay team. Energetica worked with them to create a site that was stylish and functional, and that could accommodate information about their wide range of social services programs.

Brain Injury Australia

Brain Injury Australia (BIA) represents all Australians with Acquired Brain Injury whatever the cause. BIA was formed at the first national community based conference on acquired brain injury in 1986.

Northside Community Forum

Northside Community Forum are a fantastic organisation working with people who are aged, people with a disability, carers and services. Special attention was paid to accessibility when developing this site.

The Institute for Cultural Diversity

Funded by the Australian Human Rights Commission, the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department and the University of Technology Sydney, this interactive site features blogs and social media functionality. The site is an example of web 2.0 functionality and strategies being used to engage,consult and develop research within the academic and government sector, and the broader community.

Accessibility was a key requirement of this site. Site content and community content submission tools were developed by our accessibility experts. The site utilises Google Translate to increase accessibility to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Southern Youth and Family Services

SYFS is an organisation that has the main purpose of supporting and caring for vulnerable, disadvantaged and homeless young people (ages twelve years to twenty four years)  or at risk of  disadvantage and homelessness. Energetica worked with the SYFS team to create a site that was informative, inviting and easy to navigate.

WorkVentures

WorkVentures is an Australian not-for-profit social enterprise, established around 30 years ago. The organisation aims to be a catalyst for social change by undertaking initiatives that empower disadvantaged people to build positive futures.

National Homelessness Information Clearinghouse

A functional and adaptive site with the capacity to store thousands of documents. This site represents an exciting evolution in clearinghouse and collaborative resource and information sharing. Energetica manages the sites content. The project is funded by Australian Federal Government - the Department of Families, Housing, Communities and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), the Supported Accommodation Assistance Program and the National Coordination Development Committee (SAAP/CAD).

The Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material

This site was was developed to deliver both informative and useful resources about conservation for the public and to provide better services for members. 

The Framework Convention Alliance

The FCA represents over 350 different organisations from over 100 countries. Their vision is for a world free from the death and disease caused by tobacco. This site was created as a campaign and comunications tool. 

NUAA

This site was developed for the NSW User's and AIDS Association using a design they developed. The site keeps their members up-to-date and provides access to the organsiations quarterly journal.

Media Access Australia

MAA is a not-for-profit, public benevolent institution and Australia's primary media access organisation. They provide information about media access and support the development and application of technological solutions to media access issues.

Audio Description

This site provides infomation about audio description, a service where additional commentary is provided to narrate the visual elements of a television program, movie, DVD, or live performance. This site is an initiative of Media Access Australia.

Democracy for Sale

This site was developed by the NSW Greens Party as a key strategy tool for the recent NSW Council elections. This site will continue to be an integral part of the Greens campaign as they seek to raise awareness and share information about the issues of political party donations from developers.
